Dis/ability & Access Information
The disability/access resources are managed under the Festival Sub-Committee. It
will exist all year round and will work to ensure that the activities of Dublin
Pride do not exclude any person due to unnecessary barriers. We work to facilitate
the participation of persons who use wheelchairs and other assisted devices; who
are visually impaired; who are deaf and hard of hearing; who use the assistance
of working animals; and people with other visible or invisible disabilities.
Disability/Access Resources Marching Contingent
If you are not already marching with a group or riding on a float, there will be
a contingent of people meeting at the starting point of the Pride Parade. For those
who wish to participate but feel that they would not be capable of the pace, there
will be an accessible vehicle in the Parade that can be boarded at the starting
point of the Pride Parade.
Please be sure to check back again for future updates on Dis/ability and access
information, including information on ISL interpretation, PAs and wheelchair accessibility
information during the festival.
